Hasrina Binti Hakimi

Founder / Managing Partner

A distinguished legal professional with extensive experience across banking, corporate law, and academia, Hasrina Hakimi brings a uniquely versatile perspective to her practice. After earning her LLB (Hons) from the University of Nottingham in 1993 and being called to the Bar by the Honourable Society of Gray’s Inn in 1997, she embarked on a multifaceted career journey.
Hasrina began at Citibank Malaysia, where she quickly ascended from Management Associate to Assistant Vice President in the Corporate Banking Division. Her diverse roles as Credit Analyst, in- house Legal Counsel, and Marketing and Credit Officer equipped her with invaluable financial sector insights that continue to inform her legal practice today.
Returning to her true passion, Hasrina completed her pupillage at Messrs John Tong, Fahmi & KH Yeoh before being admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya. Her subsequent partnership at a Kuala Lumpur law firm reinforced her client-centered philosophy—a principle she considers critically undervalued in legal practice.
Committed to knowledge sharing, Hasrina has lectured on Company Law and Administrative Law at a private college in Kuala Lumpur. Her professional focus lies in international dispute resolution, where she continuously hones her litigation expertise. With aspirations for advanced legal studies and authorship, Hasrina balances her professional dedication with a passion for travel and culinary exploration alongside family and friends.

Zaidatul Izyan binti Zainal Abidin

Legal Associate

Zaidatul graduated with an LLB (Hons) degree from the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) in 2021, and was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya on August
26, 2022.

She cut her legal teeth during pupillage at Messrs Cecil Abraham & Partners, a distinguished dispute resolution firm in Kuala Lumpur, where she had the privilege of working alongside some of the
country’s most prominent lawyers.

From High Court hearings to Federal Court matters and arbitration disputes, Zaidatul quickly learned that the law operates at every level—and she was ready for all of them. Not one to be pigeonholed, Zaidatul expanded her horizons by diving into the world of business and corporate law, serving as a corporate and conveyancing associate before joining our
team.

Zaidatul joined Messrs Hasrina Hakimi in 2024, where she now tackles corporate matters and
litigation disputes with equal enthusiasm. Her diverse background means she can seamlessly navigate boardroom negotiations in the morning and courtroom arguments in the afternoon—all while keeping her sense of humour intact.

What truly drives Zaidatul is her belief that law isn’t just about winning cases or closing deals; it’s about actively contributing to a fair, just, and well-informed society. She finds genuine joy in using her legal skills to make a meaningful difference, proving that you can be both passionate about justice and practical about getting results.

Nurul Balqis Dania binti Ahmad Shahaili

Nurul Balqis Dania binti Ahmad Shahaili graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) Shah Alam, before obtaining a Post Graduate Diploma in Syariah and Practice (DLSA). She was officially admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya on July 29, 2022. She completed her pupillage at Messrs. A.Azidin & Shahrul, gaining exposure to civil and criminal litigation, as well as conveyancing matters. In 2026, Balqis joined Messrs Hasrina Hakimi, where she actively tackles diverse litigation disputes with dynamic drive and dedication.
Beyond her legal practice, Balqis possesses a strong background in leadership and competitive engagements. She actively held leadership roles and took part in various high-profile competitions, sharpening her public speaking, strategic planning, and problem-solving capabilities.
Embracing the legal philosophy that “every case handled is a step toward mastery, and every challenge met is an opportunity to refine the craft of justice,” she approaches her work with absolute precision and resolve. Balqis combines a steadfast commitment to the rule of law with a continuous drive for professional excellence, ensuring strategic legal solutions for her clients.

Nur Jannah binti Hosnan

Business Operations Manager

Nur Jannah Binti Hosnan is a dedicated legal and accounting professional with over 15 years of comprehensive experience across prominent Malaysian law firms. Specialising in general litigation and conveyancing, she possesses extensive expertise in preparing complex court documentation for High Court, Court of Appeal, and Federal Court proceedings, managing e-Filing systems of the courts and other land and tax bodies, and liaising with major corporate clients and financial institutions.
In addition to her litigation support, Jannah handles end-to-end conveyancing processes, including Sale & Purchase Agreements and commercial and residential loan and banking documentation. Her background extends to full-scope practice accounting, where she manages book keeping, financial transactions, SST submissions, and payroll and Human Resource administration. Currently serving at Messrs Hasrina Hakimi, Jannah brings exceptional organisational precision, strong multi- departmental coordination, and dual fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia to deliver seamless operational support.
