A distinguished legal professional with extensive experience across banking, corporate law, and academia, Hasrina Hakimi brings a uniquely versatile perspective to her practice. After earning her LLB (Hons) from the University of Nottingham in 1993 and being called to the Bar by the Honourable Society of Gray’s Inn in 1997, she embarked on a multifaceted career journey.
Hasrina began at Citibank Malaysia, where she quickly ascended from Management Associate to Assistant Vice President in the Corporate Banking Division. Her diverse roles as Credit Analyst, in-house Legal Counsel, and Marketing and Credit Officer equipped her with invaluable financial sector insights that continue to inform her legal practice today.
Returning to her true passion, Hasrina completed her pupillage at Messrs John Tong, Fahmi & KH Yeoh before being admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya. Her subsequent partnership at a Kuala Lumpur law firm reinforced her client-centered philosophy—a principle she considers critically undervalued in legal practice.
Committed to knowledge sharing, Hasrina has lectured on Company Law and Administrative Law at a private college in Kuala Lumpur. Her professional focus lies in international dispute resolution, where she continuously hones her litigation expertise. With aspirations for advanced legal studies and authorship, Hasrina balances her professional dedication with a passion for travel and culinary exploration alongside family and friends.

From the outset, Esther embraced the doctrine of zealous advocacy, dedicating her entire energy to championing and safeguarding her clients’ every interest. Esther’s forte lies in her ability to analyse all facets of a situation, her strong negotiation skills, and her meticulous attention to detail in identifying crucial issues that bolster her clients’ cases.

Zaidatul graduated with an LLB (Hons) degree from the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) in 2021, and was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya on August 26, 2022.
She cut her legal teeth during pupillage at Messrs Cecil Abraham & Partners, a distinguished dispute resolution firm in Kuala Lumpur, where she had the privilege of working alongside some of the country’s most prominent lawyers. From High Court hearings to Federal Court matters and arbitration disputes,
Zaidatul quickly learned that the law operates at every level—and she was ready for all of them.
Not one to be pigeonholed, Zaidatul expanded her horizons by diving into the world of business and corporate law, serving as a corporate and conveyancing associate before joining our team.
Zaidatul joined Messrs Hasrina Hakimi in 2024, where she now tackles corporate matters and litigation disputes with equal enthusiasm.
